Examples of Enrichment Items and Costs
The following shows just some of the ways in which your generous donations have been used by Pratt:
| $140 | One field trip bus to downtown Minneapolis |
| $190 | One field trip bus to downtown St. Paul |
| $5000 | Artist-in-Residence Six-week program in which a local artist works with the kids in each grade to create an arts presentation; this year it was a series of plays for each grade. |
| $2500 | Neighborhood Bridges Year-long arts program for one classroom; sponsored by Children’s Theatre Company — involves an artist educator coming into the classroom one half day each week. |
| $50 | Visual Art CD Examples of visual art; used by the art teacher to supplement curriculum. |
| $3 | Multicultural Crayons A box of crayons in 8 different skin tones allows children to do more accurate self-portraits. |
| $75 | International Children’s Festival Admission for one class of 25 students to attend an event at the Ordway’s Flint Hills Center for the Performing Arts. |
| $175 | Steppingstone Theater Admission for one class of 25 students to attend a performance. |
| $25 | Music CD used during Physical Education classes |
| $50 / hour | Artist-in-Residence Works with one classroom; most such residencies involve multiple hours over several weeks or months. |
